We welcome applications from parents and carers who wish to apply for a secondary school place for their child at The Telford Langley School.
All admissions to The Telford Langley School are administered by Telford and Wrekin Council, who also operate an appeals service on behalf of the school.

Admissions to Year 7
The closing date for applications for a Year 7 place in September 2024 is 31 October 2023. Parents will be notified of which school their child has been offered a place on 1st March 2024.

If your child is unsuccessful in being allocated a Year 7 place at the Telford Langley School in September 2024, you have the right to appeal. To request an appeal, please complete a Year 7 Admission Appeal Form and return to The Telford Langley School, along with any supporting documents, to langleyappeals@taw.org.uk or by post. The closing date for Appeal Forms to be received by the school is 1st April 2024. Appeals lodged by the agreed closing date will be determined before the start of the September term wherever possible.
In-year admissions

If a place at The Telford Langley School is refused because the school is full in a year group, parents have the right to appeal. To appeal a decision not to admit a student, please complete an In Year Admission Appeal Form and submit to langleyadmissions@taw.org.uk.
