Please see information regarding the end of term arrangements and our uniform consultation
Dear Parents and Carers,
Friday, 22nd March 2024 is the last day of the spring term. On this day, pupils will be finishing a little earlier than usual, at 12.30 pm instead of the usual 3.00 pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide supervision of pupils past this time.
When pupils return after the Easter holidays, Breakfast Club will be no longer start at 7.30 am. Doors to school will open at 7.45 am for the summer term, moving to 8 am in September. This will ensure that pupils still have plenty of time to access breakfast and prepare for the school day, but we will then be more in line with the opening times of other local secondary schools.
With the exception of the last day of each term, pupils are welcome to stay in school until 4pm by accessing any of the extra-curricular provision that we have on offer. We ask that pupils do not sit in reception to wait to be collected. The reception area is for visitors not only to our school, but also for the NHS facility and the leisure facilities.
As part of the ongoing review of provision at the school, we would be very keen for as many parents as possible to respond to the consultation around uniform. This can be done by completing the form by using the link to Microsoft forms here: https://forms.office.com/e/xRs09LPVPk or alternatively, a hardcopy letter and form will be sent home with your child tomorrow to complete manually.
I would finally like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and I wish you an enjoyable break. Also, to remind you that the new term begins on Monday, 8th April 2024, at the normal time of 8.30 am. Pupils should arrive by 8.20 am to ensure that they are not late to lesson.
Kind regards,
Mrs Blount
Headteacher
